Advanced Clinical Features

• Achieving an Erect Position: The 46cm x 46cm profile provides full-width support for the adult torso. By placing the FP21 behind a patient on a trolley or bed, radiographers can assist the patient in maintaining a stable, 45° upright position, essential for optimal thoracic expansion and clear lung visualisation.
• Stability for Critical Care: The large base prevents the wedge from slipping, providing a firm foundation for patients who may have limited core strength or are in significant discomfort.

• Fluid-Proof & Wipeable: The multi-stretch technical coating is 100% waterproof, preventing the absorption of sweat, blood, or other clinical fluids. This allows for rapid and thorough decontamination between every patient use using standard hospital-grade disinfectants.

• Superior Durability: The protective skin prevents the internal foam from picking up nicks, tears, or "pitting" from patient gowns or jewellery, ensuring a significantly longer clinical lifespan than plain foam.
