The FP35 Coated Trendelenburg Wedge is a premium version of our high-incline support, engineered for high-turnover clinical environments where fluid exposure is likely. Featuring a hard-wearing, medical-grade outer skin, this wedge provides the same structural support as our plain foam but with advanced infection control properties.
Advanced Clinical Features
Fluid-Proof & Wipeable: The multi-stretch technical coating is 100% waterproof, preventing the absorption of barium, contrast media, blood, or other clinical fluids. It can be rapidly and thoroughly decontaminated between patients using standard hospital-grade disinfectants.
High-Density Stability: The reinforced internal core is designed to support the weight of the torso without significant compression, maintaining the required diagnostic angle throughout the examination.
Non-Slip Performance: The coated surface provides a subtle "grip" on the imaging table, ensuring the wedge remains secure even when supporting a patient at a steep incline.
Superior Durability: The protective skin prevents the internal foam from picking up nicks or tears, ensuring a long clinical lifespan in busy Fluoroscopy suites or A&E departments.
Wipeable cover foam may produce image artefact along edges.
It must be x-rayed before use to determine suitability for x-ray transmission.
Should always be x-rayed on purchase to ensure no metallic objects are present.
